I don't think its your imagination. The new med even tho it may be the same dose and the same ingredients, its still not the same exact formula/chemical make-up of the one that you were on. So your bodies chemistry may be reacting differently to it. Such as for me I can't take Prozac it won't work no matter how long I'm on it or the dose, however if I take it in generic form (Fluoxitine) it works wonders and I can feel the effects of it within 24 hours.

I've forgotten to take my pill for a few days before and the only reason why I remembered is because my endo pain started coming back. My pain also started coming back the last week, when my lupron shot was wearing off. So perhaps your pill isn't strong enough? Or maybe you should switch to something else all together. Have a chat with your doc and see what they say. Good Luck with this!!!!

Thanks! I'll send a message to my doctor through their online system. I just didn't want her to think I'm crazy for thinking the pill switch made a difference in my pain.

Always listen to your gut. Have you tried researching the pill? I know my doctor put me on a new pill in May, and my endo symptoms got worse- WAY worse. He kept telling me to wait, it was in my head. So almost 5 months later, I spent months in pain all day every day, vomiting, gaining wait, getting depressed and bleeding for 2 months straight which lead to anemia. I did a bit of research, and lots of women with endo had the same reaction to the pill. I went off of it a week ago, changed my diet a bit (cut back on red meats and phytoestrogens) and many of my symptoms have improved. I believe it was the pill. I don't mean to ramble, I am just trying to say that you know your body better than anyone, and you are your best advocate.

Just wondering if you had gotten anywhere with your doctor? I hope she got you something that will be more helpful!
