Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I'm sad this board is so dead lately. I need some help from my fellow endo-sufferers.
I had an iud put in two weeks ago. I was in the middle of a flare-up already. Lately, the pain has gotten unbearable at times. A few days ago it was like my whole abdomen was contracting. It was so bad I almost went to the er. Today I was having a lot of thigh pain (which has been normal since the iud went in). It started this horrible searing pain that came up my thigh, went into what felt like my hip, my left side of my uterus, behind my uterus, and into my vagina and butt. (I'm so sorry for the tmi). It was awful. I am still getting it in waves.
Do you think this is endo or do you think it is related to the iud? We're talking about doing another surgery and I'm just lost.

Of course my doctor is now telling me that this isn't typical and most women can handle it. :(
Endo brings lots of troubles. I read quite often about dreadful pains while facing it. My sister is endo sufferer too. But all these pains aren't about her. She has never complained about any kind of it. Only from time to time slightly painful intercourse. That's all. No other symptoms. Except her inability of having a baby(
They've already made lapo. It was unsuccessful bringing even more troubles - ovary scarrying.
I'm driving at there could be some additional issues that unease our life.
I'm so sorry you suffer that much with your endo. Constant pain must be killing normal life flow. But I believe another surgery will do better. What does you gyn say?
