Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
In fact, I became very good at self soothing. Unfortunately, carbs stop it pretty fast. So much so that when my boyfriend years upon years ago complained of nausea, I told him to just eat some carbs...well, he had the flu and threw up in the middle of class!
I have had light nausea for years, just try not to get too hungry and it will pass. Hugs.
Why won't they do anything for you if you think you have a cyst? If you can show that it's not getting smaller, that means it's not a normal functional cyst and it should be taken out ASAP (that's what my doc told me anyway). It sounds like they really aren't taking you seriously...I'm sorry you're going through this.
kDeezy, as for my cyst, I also get the feeling the Army doctors I have seen don't care at all. They are all about recovery & it is like hard for them to deal with someone like me where this isn't something that can be 'recovered' from. I also think they don't care about the cyst because of these stupid funding cuts. Aside from all that, I really wish I had the option to see an Endo specialist (the closest one I have found is 3 hours away!). Sounds like you have a great doc, & I completely agree: why let a huge, painful cyst get bigger & bigger & let it pop when it is so simple to remove it!! Especially since I also probably need more Endo removed because I am confident it has grown back...kill two birds with one stone!! Anyway, thanks for the support...it is nice to be able to talk on here with people who understand. Talking to my friends about it is like I'm speaking a different language.
I take anti-sick pills as my fiancee calls them i have had to up the dosage because its been getting worse.
From what i found on the web and from someone who also suffers from endo it is common a part of the endo.
:D hope the sick calms down its horrible almost as bad as being in pain for me.
Yes, eating something can help settle your stomach. Often as a busy college student, I would eat a little something so I could take a pain med before going to classes. Occasionally I would then vomit very suddenly. I would sometimes barely make it to the bathroom. See if you can find a cracker of some sort to help. Some find apple sauce or banana soothing. I don't like sweet when I'm like that, except for Hot chocolate. That was a life saver for me in college. I often would drink that for my breakfast. Later in the day I was then able to eat something.
Also, Sudden Nausea can be brought on by something we eat. If coffee is the only thing you consume when that happens, I'm sorry to suggest you might have to see if that is an issue. You might just need to go on an elimination diet to settle the internal inflamation and then reintroduce it back.
Did I read ya'll right?
