Hello Ladies...I've stopped coming around the forum because I just don't have any answers, whether for myself or fellow members.
I am SO SORRY that in 2015, this fucking disease still rages in our bodies, no matter what we seem to do to eradicate it.
Most "doctors" do not know their asses from a whole in the ground when it comes to ENDO. I suffer every day of my miserable life 21 years post TAH/BSO. I never got relief from surgeries (3) or Lupron or Megace.
I enrolled in Pain Management in 2014, only to realize that for me, OPIATES cause more problems than they solve. I suffer with major GI issues of constipation (crippling). The strong meds seem to paralyze my motility. It's a vicious cycle.
Yes, 4 decades into this vortex of pain, I know all the tx for constipation, yet it seems that adhesions are CHOKING my bowels and my bladder. I'm so afraid that yet another major surgery is looming.
I found a doctor in St. Louis (6 hours away) that accepts my insurance and will review my records. I'm scared shitless (pun intended) that I will awake with colon resected w/colostomy bag. (yep) No offense to those who have taken that route...I'd just literally rather die. SO...I will not submit to surgery. I'll just suffer.
FWIW...I started this battle long ago when I had excellent insurance coverage through my Fortune 500 employer. I've since lost the job and the insurance coverage. I have my career, because I refuse to surrender. But I don't have good insurance coverage (no script coverage). I'm told by my PM doctor "There are drugs that can change your life...give it back...but you can't afford them".

I'm so sorry to hear you are still going thru such a terrible time.
I'm going in on Thursday to have a nuclear scan of my digestive system....I've been having severe pain in my gall bladder area...had ultrasound that showed no stones. If this other test shows everything is ok then I think it's lap#5 time. I had this same pain in my early 20's....and my first lap revealed endo behind my uterus on a nerve that went to the right side of my abdomen!!!
