Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
You look around and see all these people and you ASSUME they don't have problems but those same people could be in very unhappy marriages, or unable to find love in life, or up to their eyeballs in financial trouble, or have a spouse that runs around on them. Nobody has a perfect life, everyone has some crap to deal with. I tried for a year and a half to try to get pregnant. I miscarried at 6 weeks and tried for months after until my endo pain was so horrible I had to go back on the pill to have the quality of life I needed. I could easily sit here and question why me, why wasn't I blessed with a child but sometimes, it's easier to just dwell on the negatives. I chose to think about it a different way - focusing on the blessings I DO HAVE in my life. I know it's hard to have a chronic medical condition like we have and it's easy to get down, I know, I've been there many many times. I do often wonder how people can drink, smoke and have nothing bad happen to them but again, we don't know what the rest of their life is like. Hang in there!
Where as I'm on a strict endo diet, I don't drink or smoke either, I'm fit and go to the gym but I'm the one in chronic pain and struggling to gett pregnant! The world works in f*cked up ways sometimes. There is a little goblin somewhere out there laughing at me I tells you :-p
Keep strong hun! Seriously though, sometimes I'm glad that I eat so healthy because I know when I'm like 50 years old and the endo passes with menapause I'll have the most healthy and hot looking 50 year old body. And my friend well, who knows :-p (Although I do love her and wish she would just eat some damn veggies)
