Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I'm sorry that you are experiencing these symptoms. I've struggled with Endo since I was 17 and I'm now 50. All of those issues could mean pregnancy or could be side effects from Endo. I would see your doctor immediately, if there is a chance of pregnancy. This will protect you and the possible baby. I would also journal what you are experiencing on a daily basis....every time you feel the urge to urinate, what you are eating, physical activity, any supplements you are taking, anything that eases your pain and anything that increases it. That's the only way you can help your doctor help you. Valerian root and Yarrow root tea have helped me manage 50% of my pain; but, you want to speak with your doctor about interactions between herbs and pharma drugs. I take diptropan to manage my urination urgency and pyridiam for UT burning and discomfort. There are ways to find help; but, it usually takes multiple doctors working together to find solutions. In addition, you need something to help with the depression/anger that accompanies feeling chronic pain. Frustration will acerbate the pain and probably increase migraines. I'm not an expert; but, chronic pelvic pain has been the history of my adult life. Once you find the right blend, you can feel incredibly normal and good. Keep the faith in yourself and the possibility of feeling well. Best, MMLG
