Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I just got mine from a Dr I saw from 2000 to 2011. I feel like they didn't tell me some things and some things they told me were not in there! I KNOW that I have tried lupron. But in my records there is the request for approval for it and the tx. No notes of when I git it how long etc. Agh I'm at my wits end with drs. I'm beginning to feel like they are all just idiots! My records also said I had post partum depression. One they never told me that. And two I was never depressed after I had my son. Well not for at least a year. He was sick and I was sad. And I was sick so I was frustrated but never depressed at that time!
Have any of you read your records? And had the same frustrations?
I bought them to prove I had lupron so I wouldn't be pushed in it again. And now if I turn those into my docs they will for sure push it. I just want time till I can see specialist or to see a doc that know ANYHING about endo and can take me out of this physical hell I'm in!

When you send your records to the specialist, make sure to write a letter in your own words, what your history has been. The specialist will definitely follow what you say more than what your records say. He just uses the operative reports as a tool to know what he's working with. Hope this is helpful. :)
