Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
At any rate, I've read (from googling) that it's not a common side effect. My doctor told me it is possible because such a low dose of estrogen in your body could trigger menopausal symptoms such as thinning hair, night sweats, and hot flashes (which I also have). I haven't even had a period whil one it.
I don't think it's paranoia, something worth looking into and making a decision about depending on how bad the hair loss is. I was actually "researching" this today and read that it is reversible and most people get all of their hair back shortly after discontinuing.
Sorry you're having the same issues, but you are not alone :)
