Hello Ladies,
Thought I'd send through an update of my appointment today.
I am VERY pleased to announce I think I have found a wonderful Gynaecologist! Which im very happy about.
I have my laparocopy on the 23rd of Feb, and an ultrasound on Monday.
I also found some unpleasing news about my old Gyno.
Remember when I told you I had my internal ultrasound and she told me I had a very thick wall lining and an infection in my wall lining - my Gyno today told me it is IMPOSSIBLE from an ultrasound to determine an infection. So I was given anti-biotics for something she was not sure I even had! He is sending me for another ultrasound Monday to see what is going on in there.
He was mortified she had left me to suffer so long with all my symptoms, which have progressivly gotten worse.
I am over the moon at finally being able to get a lap! and having found a great Gyno =)

You'll have to keep us posted on the surgery you're having. This will be your first surgery, right?
What type of lap are they doing? Excision, laser?

Im feeling sore after he poked and prodded for a minute or too there to see where the pain was and how tender I was.
Miss Idaho after me telling him the numerous OCP's ive been on and depo provera that didnt work, the history (since I was 9 years old), the pain, the ultrasounds, the very painful sex, the pain constantly throughout the month, the long periods etc he told me something needed to be done and the only way to know was through a lap. Dont let your doctor give you the run around! speak up, its important to. My old Gyno did that and I suffered for it!
I was told my black mass thing was an infection, which I was told today is impossible to determine from a ultrasound so he is curious/anxious to see what it actually could be and if it's still there or what else might be there/developed. I have a super thick wall lining as well which he is curious to see what is happening there.
I get my results back Tuesday from the ultrasound and hopefully Wednesday for my pap smear. Im looking forward to the lap which will = answers.
