Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
So, I'm going to the gynocologist next week. It should be a pretty routine thing. I have two cysts again, and I have to go in for an annual checkup anyway, so I'm just going to have an ultrasound done and maybe talk about my birth control. It's all pretty normal. But for some reason, I'm super stressed out about it. I'm worried he's going to give me some bad news or something and it's really stressing me out. I don't know what it is about this visit in particular, but it's making me stress out.
I'm not really sure what I'm trying to accomplish by posting this. I just haven't really said anything because I don't think anyone else will understand why I feel like this. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
I'm so sorry that you are feeling so stressed out.. I have found through the years that since I have had these diagnoses I literally have anxiety before each appointment and I have several each week.
I feel that those of us with endo, cysts etc are often times so misunderstood and misdiagnosed. It has made me question myself and lose so much faith in the medical community.
I am scheduled for my big surgery on February 23rd and I'm a nervous wreck so I really feel your pain..
Are you an insightful person and really in touch with your body? It sure sounds that way. It sounds as though your body is trying to tell you something....maybe you are going to get some important news at your appiointment? I know it's hard to think this way but maybe it will be good news? Please don't think that I am minimizing your anxiety...I just feel sorry that you are stressed.
