Good days vs. Bad days

I had a good day yesterday for the first time in about two weeks, but I woke up this morning and it seems that things are back to normal (or, bad). There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why some days are good and others are bad, in fact the good days tend to happen on days when I expect to feel the worst (like when I eat something bad for me or drink a lot). Does anyone else have this? It would at least be nice if I could establish a pattern or spend the weekends feeling bad instead of the weekdays when I have a billion things to do!

I can't seem to figure out when I'm gonna have good days or bad days either. Lately everyday is a bad day (some just worse than others). It can be frustrating trying to figure it all out and planning your life around the unexpected. Some days my pelvic/back pain isn't as bad but then my IBS is horrible, then the other way around..I do know that when I am stressed out or anxious it makes it much worse (the IBS mostly) so that can kinda of be "expected". I hope you're able to have more good days!

@amberlink09 Ugh, I know exactly what you mean. It's feels so nice to have a good day once in awhile. I too have learned that I can't really determine when I'm going to have a good or bad day. When I have a good day I try and get as many things done as possible, because I don't know when I'll feel up to it again. I know when I have a day that I have a lot of things to do, whether it's for school, or something else, I feel worse. I think part of it is due to anticipating feeling crummy, which in turn stresses me out. Does that make sense? I am a very nervous and anxious person in general, so having a condition that makes me feel so awful all the time I think exacerbates everything. :(

Yup, I know how you feel. Most endo websites talk about horrible periods. Sure they are horrible, but if it was just that I would deal with it much better. My pain is often worse when I'm NOT on my period!

I've done a few different diets and I have good days and bad days on all of them. No change. Like you, there isn't much rhyme or reason.

I know, if it were just periods and ovulation then at least I'd know when to expect it, or that I'm going to get a break! Hopefully the rest of the week is a little better, I'd really like to get through Christmas feeling good :) Luckily finals are over and work seems to be a little slow right now, so I should get a little break from stress before the family and holiday-related stress begins. I just really wish I could establish a pattern!
