Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Perhaps a nerve that is connected to the vaginal burning, travels to your foot. I know sometimes when I have a nerve twing in my upper region, the foot sometimes react as well. Such as, and this is strange lol but I'll get a twing in my foot but I'll feel a burning either up my back or by my bellybutton. Then it's gone.
You could be right about the vaginismus. I'm not expert, but muscles tightening can irritate a nerve.
Hope that helps some :)
Good luck on your annual breast ultrasound!
As for the burning foot, that's typical of a back injury when it gets pretty bad. I had that for years, YEARS before my second lap. Then they removed some adhesions that I believe removed the problem. Sorry you're going through this. I recommend looking for back-strengthening exercises and doing those at other points in your cycle to try to help. PT helped a little for me which is why I suggest it, but was not an end-all-be-all cure.
