Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I am actually following the Alli diet, but not taking the pills since I don't fall into the catagory of needing them.
I have lost 6 lbs so far in about 4 weeks. So it works, just not as quickly as you might like
As far as the putting weight on goes, Im in the same boat. I've been trying to put on weight since I was 17. Not that Im not happy with the way I look but I think I'd be a little happier and healthier if I put some meat on me lol. I've been told that a good way to put on weight is to make sure to eat 3 BIG meals a day, and small snacks in between. Hope that helps for you. You just have to keep your appetite up. Indulge and eat the foods you love! lol
QUI GONG
It is this slow, yoga type exercise that actually relieves pain and that you can do at your own pace. Buy a DVD for $10 and try it - trust me, it gets rid of a lot of my anxiety.
I used to lift weights too but I found I have to be careful with the things (like leg presses) that put more pressure on the female organs, kwim?
As far as weight gain, have you tried any of the protein shakes?
