Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

I know I shouldn't get too discouraged yet because we've only really *actively* tried for a baby for two months (had a surgery and too much pain for sex in between the last two attempts), but we've been off birth control for about five years (aka we weren't not trying) and absolutely nothing has happened. My younger sister is now pregnant for the fourth time by a guy with no job and no aspirations to get one. Five of my friends on have announced pregnancies on Facebook in the last month. One of my closest friends is, as I write this, in the hospital giving birth to her "happy little accident". I can't be happy for anyone...and that makes me feel so guilty I could scream.
I picked up an OPK for the first time. I tested negative yesterday, but I think I should be ovulating on/around the 18th. I'm also a little nervous because I should be ovulating from the left this time and I just had a giant endometrioma removed from that side...I'm not sure if it will be more or less painful now. I'm certainly not holding my breath for anything to work this month, but I have an appointment with a reproductive endocrinologist on 2/11 and I plan on asking him to do my surgery again since none of my many adhesions were removed last time.
I'm just frustrated and sad and I've resigned myself to the fact that I'm not going to be able to get pregnant on my own even though my gynecologist gave me roughly a 50-50 shot. My insurance doesn't cover fertility treatments and I certainly don't have any money laying around to spend on IVF so I really hope it doesn't come to that.
I don't know. I just feel sad. And inadequate. And I just wanted to vent a little bit.

I know the feeling all to well, It seems like no matter where you go everyone is pregnant and everyone you know is pregnant for the millionth time. My Husband and I have tried for 4 years and have had 19 miscarriages, we can get pregnant but I can't carry it very long. It is very irritating and it is heartbreaking. Just know that you are not alone. I too can not show happiness for people who do have kids or who are pregnant because I am jealous. My Husband and I decided to do foster care and we are in the process of adopting 3 beautiful children we love them very very much and that has helped so much. I love being a mommy. We had the same problem insurance doesn't cover any of that so this is what we decided to do. Just remember things do happen for a reason and sometimes you don't see it, if we could have had children we would have never done foster care and we wouldn't have the three beautiful children we do now. We have twins ( a girl and a boy) we've had them since they were 3 days old from the hospital and they are going to be 3 years old in August. We also have a 5 year old that we've had for a year, their sister. We love them all very much. Have you ever thought of adopting?

I think it's a normal reaction... sad but true.... i have had endo for 20 years or more and every time i went to the gyno... all in the room were pregnant but me.. and i am now 42...all my friends had kids... i resented for a long time, i instead had surgeries and a hysterectomy... we all have to deal with this our own way, but know that this support group, is ALL i have found to vent, cry, listen, or whatever..

I know how it is . They told me have do IVF get pregnant but so scared even do that cuz like what if it doesn't still work or the baby isn't health . But they also said had bad endometrosis and that I don't ovulate right you would think by now have more drugs help that but I guess they don't I know very hard to deal with cuz both of my sisters have kids and my brother has one on the way . I have good and bad days get very low and down about it and cry alot ... Say why me cuz have so many other health issues and my sisters can have babies but not me tryed for years to have one naturally nothing happen. Only try IVF two times the doctor said then after that I can't efford the 12,000 . Just very hard cuz I know my time running out seem like every 4 years getting surgery remove the scar tissue because its becomes to painful and even sleep with my man if I don't and also told me had cancer cells but the doctor said wait until stage 3 or 4 take out your organs cuz then have full cancer . But if you need anyone talk to am here . Just keep frighting it I know its hard
