Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
i dont know how you feel about beans, chick peas, or chicken but i go to my local hanafords or price chopper and make a fresh salad from the salad bar and add the chick peas and chicken and those are good fillers plus a good form of protein and so far i havent had any issues with either product.
also if you like beans they are also good fillers or additives for different things depending how you prepare and cook them.
try eating 6 "meals" a day. a good breakfast is a protein shake with fruit and some whole grain toast. (you can find some approved ones you just have to research).
my favorite snack is cherries. they are good, good for you and very filling.
i hope some of this has helped. good luck!!!!
You can fill up from the endo diet, but it takes a little research.
First, be sure to eat enough protein. Organic eggs, cheese, nuts, chicken are good sources.
Second, be sure to have some carbs, preferably complex carbs. Wild rice, brown rice, quinoa.
Third, eat 5 to 8 servings of fruits or veggies a day. Most of us eat too much carbs and not enough fruits and veggies. If you eat that much, you will be full. :-)
Super foods are also great, like black beans, avacado, and other foods with good vitamins and high fiber.
Try to follow the USDA's food plate guidelines and that should help too. Hope this helps, you can do it, I have faith.
