i saw a question about the endo diet and i tried to reply but it wouldnt let me and then it dissappeared hmmm...anywho lol i just wanted to add that for me the diet was too restrictive but i found that by eating alot of fiber and keeping my digestive system clear it relieved the lower abdoinal pressure. I found that i often got constipated and the pressure i think would push against my uterus. but on another note, excess estrogen is stored in fat cells so i think that losing weight helps regulate hormones as well. just some thoughts! take care

Hi, I did put up a comment on the Endo diet thread so it might have been that you were replying to? I've been doing some research on the endo diet and it is far too restricitve for me too. I guess all we can do is find what fits us and our daily lives and make the changes we can and hopefully that is a step in the right direction. I'm on day 3 of no wheat so fingers crossed. In terms of fibre, I do get lots in from veg but miss having my wholewheat bread already :( The sugar part is easy enough as I don't have a sweet tooth as such, more salty savory. I don't drink much milk but I love my cheese so will try and reduce that. The other thing I am trying to reduce is processed meat, my body physically craves it and I eat huge amounts of ham, sausage etc. One thing I can't do without is my daily coffee but hopefully the changes I'm making will have an impact.

It makes sense about the excess estrogen and I know I've picked up weight since my mirena so perhaps thats whats making things worse! Thanks for the post :)
