emergency MRI and Cat scan

Hey I know a lot of you know about my best friends little girl. She has spina bifida, tethered cord, and chiari.....She is scheduled for surgery in January, but is now being rushed over to the hospital for an emergency MRI and Cat scan, they think her shunt maybe malfunctioning, either way we need answers and this poor baby needs relief, she is in so much pain she is screaming. Please lift her and her family in your prayers, Thank you all so much!

Thank you for the prayers! They sent her home with no answers and no pain medicine. She was able to sleep last night, but she is in horrible pain, says her head feels like it is trying to split open from the inside out. She feel like someone has put bricks on her shoulders and is weighing her down, her legs go from numb to intense pain. She is unable to walk, she can't sit up by herself, and is a mess. Wendy is a wreck, and with what she told me about Charly we both started crying. She has to call the neurosurgeon first thing this morning with an update on how she is and they will go from there. I have a feeling we are going to be spending the day at the hospital, cause I am not about to let Wendy sit there by herself, again. She went by herself yesterday cause there was no one else in the office to relieve me. I was such a nervous wreck, and then when she told me she wished I had been there I lost it. Please continue to pray for Charly and her family, no little girl should have to go through this.....I am proud of her and how strong she is and has been. We are all sooooo worried.

Thanks again for all of the prayers.....
They admitted her yesterday and have kept her pumped full of meds. Wendy said she is totally out of it and praise God in no pain and sleeping. I am not to sure how long they are going to keep her, but like I said praise God she is not in the pain right now. When I know more I will update, thank you again for all the thoughts and prayers.

I will add my prayers as well. I am so glad she is not in pain any longer. You are an amazing friend to stand by their side. We Endo Girls are some tough, loyal cookies!
