Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
The only thing I do is use a heating pad. I can't take NSAIDs because I get a horrible skin reaction to it.
I have pain in my upper abdominal region all the time. It's mostly focused in two spots, one being a large incision scar and the other a hard nob of tissue I've had for years. It can be annoying to very excruciating. Heat and massage helps, but try telling that to the woman in agony everytime it's lightly touched.
(note, especially for those reading this just learning about endo: there are women who have endo and yet have zero pain).
