Yes. Cramps, spasms and bleeding were all 'normal' for me after intercourse. Glad you are getting your lap soon.

Yeah, I've been spotting but that's still preferable to bleeding- cuz I breakthrough bleed even on normal pill. I am SO over this. Does the lap make all this stuff go away? And now I have burning from off and on bleeding- they wanted me to stop and have a regular period but in my opinion, no point as I'll still have breakthrough bleeding so why torture myself? 3 months ago I didn't have any of this, why all of a sudden? I HATE BLEEDING this is the worst thing that could really happen to me and it sucks cuz a year ago I just had surgery so I could have sex now I don't want to because its a different kind of pain.

If your lap is done by a skilled surgeon who can properly excise the lesions it should help your symptoms. But there is no cure for endo, so of course, there are no guarantees...

Hey Alana...Dog tired, actually=) Fear and loathing are ever-present emotions with this disease. It's just a big old pile of shit that NOBODY knows how to shovel.

That being said, you HAVE TO BE your own advocate, ALANA!!! YOU NEED TO HAVE THE LAP for definitive diagnosis. That's the only way you will KNOW what you're dealing with.

PLEASE...PLEASE...PLEASE do not delay any longer. If you do have endometriosis, procrastination feeds it as much as estrogen. Mine would NEVER have reached stage 4 if my doctors had listened to me. They did not.

You have good odds, with early diagnosis and an aggressive treatment plan. You're a strong young woman. YOU NEED TO step past your fear and get proper diagnosis...NOW.

Sex doesn't normally hurt for me, but Jeezus did it hurt when I had my ovary twisted up behind my uterus. The only good thing that came out of my lap was having my ovary put back in it the right spot. That solved a lot of probs for me at least.

I did have cramping and spotting post sex when I had uterine polyps. When I had those suckers removed the cramping and spotting stopped.

I don't really get a lot of cramping after sex, but I do get horrid, knife-like pains up through my vagina and rectum after. Sexy, I know lol. Also, I get terrible bloating for at least a day or two after also. It is so painful-it gets so bad sometimes I have to walk hunched over. Nothing helps, so I just have to wait until it decides to go away on its own.

I get bad cramping after sex....and sometimes bleeding...but I've attributed that to my fibroid..but who knows! :(

I also get cramping after sex. The sex itself doesn't hurt, but soon after and the next day, my cramps are pretty intense. And like megan said those sharp pains that shoot up in ur stuff down below, i get those too. I'm guessing it's maybe from inflammation caused by the sex. And about the lap helping or not. ..I think it all depends. I've read some women on here feel wonderful after for awhile until it starts getting bad in there again and they need another one to clean it up. And some are not helped at all by the laps. I felt like my first lap just stirred stuff up and made it worse. It's still too soon (wk & 1/2 post op) after my second to tell yet. Hopefully this one did some good!

Ugh yeah that's what I'm worried about if its worse I cant deal, but like another poster said (sorry I didn't look at names) my doc also thinks I have a polyp which is causing bleeding. They told me to get off continuous BCP but I spot anyway and with taking it regularly, I have horrible periods and I really would rather pass on that. The periods are awful! But yeah, the other day I had sex it was fine during didn't bleed until the next day but after I went to stand up I almost passed out from the cramps. My poor boyfriend is now scared out of his mind to have sex with me but I still do it cuz I love it. But I honestly feel like something is adhered because if he nails my ovary everything moves- I cant really explain it. Sex itself doesn't hurt- and of course I just had surgery to have sex for my vulvodynia- and this isn't near that pain but still its frustrating. I'm just glad I'm not alone- although I don't want anyone else to have this either. I feel like less of a person with this disease. And I'm tired ALL day long.

Danimeg- I think it's too soon to tell if your surgery was a week and a half ago but what do I know? How is your recovery going? Are you back at work?
