Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
swelling can happen. if there is a fever or redness, those could indicate infection. again; call your doctor!
and if you think you are overdoing it, rest more. you need so much rest to heal! it is wise to move as much as we can, but gently and with no increase to our healing pain or incisions.
i'm sure all this will pass, and your doctor is just the person who knows your body and should be able to help with these things. if they don't respond well, that's a great reason to look for someone new, because answering questions about your healing after surgery is your surgeon's job.
love and good healing to you!
My first BM after my last lap was exactly the same as doing the bowel prep itself. My doc said it's the bowel prep still in there and your first motion post op is affected by this.
The swelling can come and go...if you have adenomyosis it's a common thing. If you are worried ask your doctor on June 6th! My post op is that day too =)
