Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Like vansanturtle said it's Endo related. Being on Lupron or having it removed it's going to cause it to come back with a vengeance it's just simply the fact that you have Stage IV and you have to try and control it as best as you can.
I'd talk to your DR, see what timeframe you're in and if you are already having symptoms see if maybe you might need to readjust protocol.
I got the first shot 10/11 and was supposed to get the second one 11/8 but didn't. So this past Friday 12/6 would have been two months since the first shot and 4 weeks from when the lupron should have been starting to leave my body and possibly producing a period, but it hasn't yet. Once I get AF the. We will ttc naturally (not happy) for one month then move on to Ivf.
Now I am getting sever migraines. I used to get them in Junior high and high school if I didn't sleep, I had two in college, and one in the last eight years but now all of a sudden three in one week, it's so weird. So, me being me, I called the RE, but they seem to think it's not related to the Lurpron. It's just a little odd that nothing else has changed (medically) except the endo diagnosis and the lupron, so seems to me that the lupron is the culprit. Any one have experience with this? I read lupron can help hormonal migraines, but I never had them before.
Please keep me posted on your outcome. I'm post surgery (second lap) and the doctor is suggesting lupron. I have a history of migraines and have had issues keeping my progesterone/ estrogen balanced since I've had my son 7 years ago. I'm really hesitant to try the Lupron. It sounds like you didn't have the best experience, so I'd be curious to know what life after Lupron is like for you.
Youre bodys been though and still is going through a lot. I know youre going to hate this because the just relax idea is like nails on a chalk board to us, BUT that normally comes from the unknowing, Im not that so hopefully you wouldnt want to reach through he computer and strangle me BUTId start with making sure you are eating and drinking enough, and get some rest and try to cut down your stress even a little. Maybe that will have a positive effect on the migraines.
Hang in there. I know you feel like everything's out of your control, you can get at least some back I promise.
I did call my regular doctor and he gave me some med to stop one if I get another so we shall see!!!
Lo Mac -You are so right! I think not even having a period and not knowing when it will come back has put an unexplainable amount of stress on me both mentally and physically. It's the aspect of having absolutely no control that seems to be the most difficult part. I feel like I am constantly on pins and needles anticipating when I will get it, but I'm really trying to work through taking a few steps back and chilling which is a VERY hard thing for me to do. I just had me levels checked and my estradiol is around 140 so looks like I'm getting close to ovulating which is music to my ears!!!! Thank you for all of your support, I am so very happy to have run into you!
