Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
How are you doing honey?! I've been thinking about you wondering how you've been doing!! I'm so glad you responded! I really appreciate your insight on this. The GI doc I have is suppose to specialize in "difficult cases" including endo, but we will see. Also my endo specialist is pretty much giving up on me. I had to ask him if he would do surgery and he said he would and then (get this) promised me he would remove all of the endo!! I'm like, WTF? If he believes this then why on earth did he not want to perform surgery earlier?! PLUS, for a specialist to say he can remove ALL of it.... That was the last straw with him. I have to travel 2 hours one way to see him the least he can do is come up with something other than, "You should do so much yoga that you can teach it!!" I get and agree with PT type of exercises but I must have some kind of "fusion" going on my left side because it hurts to do any stretching.... I'm just finally done with him. And come to find out that he performs excision surgery which is very very rare around here. Go figure!!
Anyway, sorry for babbling. I'm so happy to be in contact with you!!

Im battling on, its been awful and im really struggling right now :( wish i was doing better but sadly no. see a new gyno in June but have ongoing health issues after my surgery went wrong just had surgery on my voicebox which was a result of the trauma of surgery. In so much gyno pain.
I hope the surgery goes well and the surgeon you have knows what to look for, mine didnt.. My gyno explained to me gynos deal with gyno and Gi deals with their stuff but sometsimes you find one who will find it like mine eventually did.
HAs your gyno been doing anyhting? you must have adhesions hun if its hurting during excercise, i did yoga and loved it and it pulled like hell, i had adhesions everywhere....
These gynos dont realise we need them to help us so desperately. I hope the colonoscopy will help darl and give you soem answers... im here if you need any tips just change ur diet the week before to soft foods this will help trust me and buy soem De-gas fro after the surgery to help as they pump you so full of gas.... but as surgerys go, its a ok one.. us Endo girls are tough.
xoxox good luck

I only have suspected endo. My Gynno doesn't want to run the test because of my autoimmune diseas and being on immunosuppresants. He literally wants to wait until I can't take it anymore, I guess that is when he feels it is truly "necessary". I did find out I have a prolapsed uterus and some sort of lesions in my milk ducts too. It was a whammy of an appointment.
I have tons of stomach issues (ulcers, duodenitis, and inflammation that pretty much mimicks Chrons'). I have had many colonoscopies, but my recent test failed, we weren't able to do it as I had a blockage and no matter what they gave me, there was no movement. Ugggh.
I wonder with the increased female problems I have been having and the probablity of endo, if my recent colon problems could be related. Not that I would ever expect any doctors to figure that one out. I have had the worst doctor luck ever imagined.
I am glad I joined this, even if it is just to read up info!!
Thanks. Jayme
