I was on this site when I was first diagnosed with endo in 2011 but have been away. It took me almost a year to feel relatively normal after my lapo- not just recovery but in general. My endo was really awful and had displaced my lower GI organs but with Depo and a less stressful daily life my endo has thankfully calmed down in the last 6 months. Knock on wood. I think my "better" might be someone else's "horrible" but I'm used to the pain and I managing it.
I had terrible fatigue while working full time and the stress of my job made my endo unbearable and the fatigue scary in it's intensity. I almost fell asleep driving home one day and nearly hit a road sign. I knew it was time to call it quits from the 9-5. For that reason and others I quit the job and am now working from home BUT my fatigue has only gotten worse.
I just signed on with a new insurance company and I am starting the process of finding a new primary and other specialists who are in my network. I am going to talk to my new doctor about the fatigue, of course. But it is so overwhelming. I have no energy. I slept for 12 hours a few days ago and still went to bed early. I'm really just at my wits end with this exhaustion. I'm not doing anything that warrants this amount of tiredness.
My question- for anyone who has endo- do you also experience extreme fatigue that doesn't go away no matter how much rest you get? I have constant body aches-joint and muscle and now muscle spasms on top of it all. I want to go into the doctor's appointment as prepared as possible. My gyno says the fatigue is not related to endo but I think she's wrong. I know there is a connection between chronic fatigue and endo but I don't want to jump conclusions.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

So I do think it has to do something to do with it!
Also the all over aches and pains are something that I'm trying to get rid of myself. It started in my left hip but has progressively spread to my mid-back, shoulders, knees...I see a physical therapist who is making things a little better and I'm also on cymbalta which is for fibromayalga. It takes the edge off for me and also has a slight anti-depression component to it which doesn't hurt either.
The all over pain though just won't go away. Finally when my PT has worked out many of the kinks, my period hits and they all flare up again.
