Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
That said, I know the evidence is strong for cannabis as a painkiller and antinausea drug. I know a pediatric oncologist who prescribes marinol (synthetic form that is more thoroughly legal) regularly. Apparently it works somewhat like Vicodin where if you're taking it because you need it for pain relief it doesn't make you as stoned/loopy/drowsy as it would if you were taking it "recreationally."
I don't smoke...cigarettes or weed...never liked either in my youth. I joke in my dark humor that it would take a "dooby" the size of a fire hydrant to help me=) I can never see myself smoking, but I find "Wilfred" with his bong strangely amusing. I wear the "mask of everything's fine" most days, as I have to fake it til I feel it with our clients. Your post made me retreat to my fantasy of putting on a Wilfred costume and cranking up a bong. Who knows...maybe I'd want to have sex...even with a stuffed bear? Fantasy over...
Hey, I'm with you...if the oil works, tell me how, when, where=)
