The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

I just order an endo book and books like this are a little boring to me. I need some support to get through this damn thing. Here's the book:

I read that book when I first found out that I had endo and it scared the shot out of me. I found that there wasn't anything slightly up lifting to give you a little hope. This is the book that I read and foung it very helpful: "Living well with endometriosis" by Kerry-Ann Morris. the author has endo herself which is automaticly its first plus for me. I really think every one should read it.

My favorite books on endo are both by Mary Lou Ballweg; one which you gave the link to (you'll find that very informative, thorough, and helpful), the other is; The Endometriosis Sourcebook (Sourcebooks) by Mary Lou Ballweg and The Endometriosis Association. Both books had a ton of info.
I like the idea of a book club; I agree we all need to educate ourselves on this disease because its chronic, it affects so much of our lives, and Dr's dont seem to have any answers! (well 99.9% of dr's!) Its so mysterious, and we need all the info thats available to us.

This is the number 1 endo book on Amazon. May be because it's cheap and an instant download...but hey, that works for me.
