Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Alright ladies.. Im determined to find out what the heck is going on with me!
I have to have a colonoscopy because my specalist is dumbfounded and finds it so hard to believe my endo is back after exicsion in JULY.
I am making mum send me all her info on her PAP's and colonoscopy's.
Her GP also suggested we both take blood tests to make sure I havn't inherited her antibody. Problem is, mum doesn't know what it is.. both doctors have either retired or passed away and she's not entitled to her information. Sounds stupid but apparantly because she was such a bizarre case she signed something or did something I don't know - problem/issue is she can't find out what it is. It caused her to have misscarriages all throughout her pregnancies and even some babies born not fully formed and dead :( I survived being a twin. They described it to her back over 20 years ago as the body thinking it was a disease an attacking it. She has ALOT of trouble now with clotting (she almost died once from it :( and today they think it could be related to her past. She doesn't feel the need to know but will get the blood tests if it is helpful to me. I am wondering if any of you ladies have an antibody and what it has done to you in regards to your body, endo, pregnanacy etc?
Mum never had endo.. but there's a suspition my aunty did and her cousin did. Im googling the blood disorders her GP sent to me.. in some way they can all be related to endo! :(
