bloated, bad... help??

I am taking birth control pills and have noticed- bloated, now for about two weeks... what helps decrease this?

As far as I'm aware, bloating from birth control pills is either from water retention or built gas in you're belly. I don't know if there's anything that can be done about water retention, but I know one (drug free) way that can help get rid of built up gas is to simply just lay on your belly for awhile. The pressure can help "release" it.

I haven't been able to lay on my belly for years due to endo... does midol or ibuprofin help with bloating.. I've had a hysterectomy, and 20 years plus of endo-- this doc placed me bak on BC pills.. for psuedo menopause, stop the pain, blah blah blah... and i am reallllllly bloated

I know anti-inflammatories like midol/ibuprofen can help with PMS bloat, which I would imagine is pretty similar to a bloat caused by the BC pills. If it is more of a digestive/gas bloat I would try something like Gas-X or one of the other OTC gas relief meds.

Hope you can get some relief soon, if not maybe a different pill might not cause it. I've tried a ton of different ones, each with their own problems unfortunately hehe.
