Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

OMG I am livid. I hate how doctors work harder to control your fertility than give a shit about you as a human. I for one am NOT a broodmare, I was not put on this earth to breed or reproduce. I don't like kids, I do not want to get pregnant now FIX MY DAMN PAIN!
Than there are the others who are like "Alana, get pregnant, you'll feel better". NO I will not feel better, and typically getting pregnant leads to a child which I do not even want. Yes, maybe I will feel better endo wise while I'm preg, but there are other problems with pregnancy you're body undergoes so much and there is no telling what could possibly happen in 9 months while I'm knocked up with a baby I don't fucking even want.
I am FRUSTRATED, I want a fix, I hate hurting, I hate being on birth control as it turns me into a fucking psycho bitch, and now on top of that, the new bcps makes me TEAR. Holy shit I hate people who say "Oh cramps? Please its NOT that bad" FUCK YOU BITCH it IS that BAD for me!!! I hate how the treatments make the problem worse. I need a new body, I'm seriously so bad that I contemplate killing myself (no worries I WONT do that) just to get out of pain. I am desperate. I dread my period every month, as it never seems to want to end and than on top of it the pain, I can't even poop without screaming in agony while I have my period. HOW is that normal?
ugh, I'm sorry I just didn't have anyone else who gets it, my parents are like all you do is complain. Well, yes, if you felt like you were giving birth to an elephant once a month, you probably would bitch too. We won't even get into the tears, frequent yeast infections, breast cysts, vulvodynia, vestibulectomy, and countless other bull shit I've had to put up with. FUCK YOU ENDO!!!!!

My gp said that she had no idea that it was that bad and she's working hard to find someone to help me. I mentioned in another post that she wants me to go to another clinic to get a second opinion from a gyn that isn't with the "Hastings Gyn Network". She admitted that doctors in the same clinic tend to band together because they don't want to step on each other's toes.
Just keep being assertive and being your own advocate. We're here if you need to vent :)
The pain is crazy and totally destroys my energy. I still haven't started, but dealing with enormous amounts of pain and spending pretty much my entire day messed up on pain meds which is not how I want to live my life. This is not a way of living at all.

i'm sort of new here, have you had a lap?
Anyway, I posted a while back for advice but have been SO busy and out of it since. I had my lap (hysteroscopy, ablation, lap for tubal and excision) not quite 2 wks ago so i'm still recovering. :/ My doc wants to put me on lupron and i'm considering it. SUCKS that i have to be on BCP even though i have had a tubal, just to keep estrogen production down. but whatever. as long as there is less pain, i'm ALL FOR IT!
so far, recovery has easier than dealing with endo pain. and hey, i can poop without crying!! *cheers* But seriously, i got to the point that i just couldn't go on how i was. So far everything i have had done has been worth it and even though i'm still recovering, i feel better than i have in months. hopefully i won't even have a period after the ablation... go for the Lap, see what you're dealing with and go from there. One step at a time. i was terrified that i'd have a ridiculous amount of endo growth and doc found just a few areas of growth. (amazing how painful those "few" areas were)
