Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I'm on the Lupron shot. I'm about to get my last shot next week and I'm petrified to go off of it.
However I'm not sure what's going on these past few days. Today was the worst. I woke up in the middle of the night with really bad abdominal pressure like someone was putting bricks on my lower abdomen.
I got up and started to move around and felt o.k. but it got worse and the normal endo type pain came back after about an hour. I tried to suck it up and put my big girl panties on and go to work, but when I got there I had to leave as the pressure and pain were too much. I felt so awful and I hope my boss and co-workers aren't mad at me.
I'm just not sure what it is. I've been having a lot of good days on Lupron, so I'm not sure if this is a fluke. After I got home I tried to eat a little something so I could take all my meds and I passed out for like 3 hours with the cat. (thank goodness for cuddly kitties)
I had a period on Lupron with my 3rd shot and it feels a little something like that. I feel very fatigued, weak, thirsty, and very nostalgic and sad. However I haven't seen any blood and my doc called this morning with my hormone results stating that my hormone levels look good and my estrogen is really low and in the normal menopause range. I do have cysts on my ovaries and wondering if possibly one of them burst?
Right now I feel exhausted a little weak still and there's still a lot of pressure. I'm hungry, but every time I eat the pressure is so bad that I start to feel nauseous.
I just want this to go away...I'm so tired of feeling like this...I"m tired of feeling like a little old lady and not a 35 y/o..I'm so tired of altering my life around this disease. I was so mad on my way home from work. I was just looking at other drivers, people out walking, shopping and such and thinking of how jealous I am of them that they get to be well and healthy and not have their lives altered by an illness...It just makes me mad because if this was a mans disease there would be a cure for it. ARGGHHH. Thanks for letting me vent.

Everyone is entitled to vent.. especially us. The ones who suffer in silence. The ones who get shushed because of our "women problems". I wish i had an answer for you. I wish I could make you feel better. All I can really do it let you know that you aren't alone and that you're doing the best you can. You're strong- but everyone reaches their breaking point. Hang in there and eventually somethings gotta give right?
