Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
When I first started with this group it was so busy! You couldn't find the discussion you posted quickly it was person after person looking for advice helping by sharing their story etc. I have to admit, I rarely come back here. I try to do my own pain management and sort of forgot about everyone else here. Apparently everyone else has too. As I sit here wishing I had someone to direct my questions to, I can't help but think is it even worth it? It used to be so nice to know that I could come here and have people know what I'm feeling, understand the pain, when the doctors can't even give me the right responses. Anyways I guess that's not the point. The point is I have been having pain again. 6 weeks ago the pharmacy changed distributors.. I know everyone on here's worst nightmare, and guess what... Pain. I feel like I was at an okay place and then the pharmacy decides it's okay to just change my pill. "Oh it's the same thing" they say "it's just a generic!" But it's not. I called my doctor and they can't get me in until ready for this? The end of May.... Really??? That long? So what I'm just supposed to sit here and go backwards in my treatment because they don't have time for me? What do I do? I'm so alone in this journey... No one seems to understand...
I just found this forum because I was looking for support, too. My pain recently just flared up, too, and I also feel like I am alone. None of my friends nor family can even begin to relate because they have never had to deal with something as money as a chronic illness and pain. I am hoping to find the support I need here. I understand what you are going through and I am here for you.
