So I've been off the lupron for almost a month now and I'm beginning to feel like crap again. I was afraid that this would happen as my body has always been really good at healing from physical trauma.

For the past 3 days I've been getting bouts of period like cramps, endo pain, feeling full after I take only a few bites of food, extreme fatigue, and loose stools and feeling thirsty. All symptoms that I get before my period. I'm soo not impressed right now.

My doc said our next line of defense was camilla a low dose birthcontrol pill. I'm wondering if I should call them and get the ball rolling on that before things get out of hand again, I don't know if I can take going through that kind of pain 24/7 again.

I have to work a double today and I don't know how I'm going to do it. I'm sore and crampy and right now I would love nothing more then to go back to bed and sleep, I'm so tired. :(

Wished I knew what to do and what was going on.....

So sorry to hear the news. Dr cook's book outlines all the problems or pains with endo patients, based on a couple of your symptoms it sounds like the digestive system is going haywire.

Have you considered a potential food allergy or trying to add probiotics to your diet?

Not sure if it will help, but it's just a bummer to be in pain, I know first hand.

Don't chance it, ask to be put on something you know worked for you the first time, and take that. good luck sister

@endowife-you have no idea how much I wish it were a digestive issue! I was dx'd in the past with IBS and Dispepsia, but my symptoms are under control now and my symptoms are going back to what they were before lupron. They don't resemble my IBS/Dispepsia symptoms at all. Sigh...I was soo hoping

I just feel like I went thro all that lupron crap for nothing. I did go to my gyno this afternoon and he put me on a low dose bc that he said a lot of his other endo patients have had good luck with. I started it tonight and hopefully it works and I see some results soon. I hope this kicks in and has the endo under control before it comes back with a vengeance like it did last time! So i'm going to spend the next few days doing every superstitious good luck ritual
that I know of in hopes that this is the magic silver bullet!

Bummer, my IBS issues resolved (right now they are gearing up again now that I am pregnant, but that's another issue), but like 2 years ago when the IBS wasn't even present, my digestive system shut down. It was awful, I was at the farmer's market and couldn't even walk to my car.

So, you can see why I suggest it. :-(

I hope the BC works too, huge hugs.
