Hi. I had laparoscopy last year and was diagnosed with stage IV endo. I suspected I had it because all the symptoms fit and I was in agonising pain, but the doctors didn't listen until they saw I couldn't get pregnant and nothing else was wrong. The surgery helped a lot, and the leuprolide injections even more. I had maybe 8 months of not having any pain. Now I have a IUD and it is all starting to come back, some pain and strong mood changes, every month is a little worse. I am afraid of going back to the terrible place I was in before surgery. I have to decide whether to have an IVF, but I am so tired of pain and hormones that I am not sure I want to go through that for a low probability of success. Otherwise I can't have kids. I am currently waiting for surgery, which is sometimes the worst part... cuz it gives me a lot of anxiety. but, just taking it a day at a time.

I remember before my last surgery how bad the pain was and how sick I felt. I went into worst depression stages. After the second surgery I felt less pain for a couple of months and of course the pain is back and stronger. The anxiety before and after is understandable a downer. Think positive thoughts even though I know it's difficult and frustrating at times. Best wishes to both of you.
