Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
It was from endo. I had endo on some ligaments that are somehow attached to my hips. I rarely get the pain anymore. :)
I hope you have great success with your lap!
Thank you again!
My physical therapist has noticed some subsequent spasms in my psoas muscle, which runs right along there, and myofascial release usually relieves at least most of the discomfort from the muscle spasm. I think going to a physical therapist that is experienced in working with the pelvic floor is something that all women with endo can benefit from. I've developed muscle spasm disorders secondary to the endo (body's response to the pain/irritation, something like that..), and sometimes it's tough to tell where the pain is coming from. Pressing in a spasmed muscle is very painful. It's really great to know that if that is a possibility for the source of your pain that relief can be attained fairly easily. Just something to consider!
Yes, it is in my groin area, but also the front and inner thigh. I also get hip pain. Some days the pain in my groin is so bad I can hardly walk. I do get spasm in my thigh, too. Thank you for the suggestions! I just want my Lap done and over with so I know what is wrong. I thought the pelvic pain that I've been experiencing was bad enough, but when my thighs and hips hurt all at once, I honestly can't handle it. I've always been such an active person and now I feel that I can't do anything. I can't sit, I can't stand, and I hate laying down because I can feel every little pain in pelvic. This has been very frustrating, as I am sure you know!
