Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
My story is similar to endogirl21's. My doctor didn't think it was possible for me to have endo again. I had one surgery November 2007 and by December 2008 I had another surgery and the endo was back and worse. I didn't have anything on an ultrasound either... just adhesions. I send you well wishes and hope you are better soon. Stay encouraged :)
My surgeries were 4 and a half months apart this year, my first gyno couldn't work out why I was in MORE pain after the surgery (laser), scratched his head and gave me progesterone tablets which just made me bleed.
The second gyno was at the descretion of my professor, he did exicision and found that it had not only come back but spread!
I've been ok since exicision feeling a bit more like *me* however now each day I am noticing the pain returning.
So I guess Im yet another example of how quickly it can come back!
Praying for you, I hope you find some answers to the pain you're having! =(
*hugs*
Let us know how it goes!!

I've had five laps where adhesions were found at all except the last one Aug 2008. They were
removed each time. I agreed to do the MRI only to see if anything more shows up. I plan on scheduling surgery when i get results on oct 5th.
Thanks for checking on me. How are you?
Do you think the actual removal of your adhesions caused them to return? or do you know if it was the endo that caused them to reappear?
thanks & hoping you are feeling better today....
Before my 2008 lap the one before that was in 2002 so not sure what could've caused adhesions to come back. I'm just assuming there are adhesions now cuz i saw some white spots on mri film (they gave me cd). And i know both cycts have lots of follicles and a larger one cyst on each. not sure why all the follicles cuz im on seasonale so i get period once every 3 months. so if there are adhesions or any endo it took eight years to grow back but ive had alot of pain in that time so dont know what all that is about.
Hope you feel better. Today is alittle better. thanks for asking. The endometriosis association sells this natural oil called ProSirona for endo pain. It works pretty good. It smells like peppermint and gives you a winter fresh feeling down there. lol. My pelvic floor pain is in between my legs ( on the sides) so i put it there and it absorbs into skin. give it a try.
