Yes. When I had my Mirena inserted I was feeling like this. I did not want to do it. I was nervous about it and I was making myself sick with anxiety. I started having chest pain and palpitations so I decided that I needed to calm down and relax and wait if this Mirena was gonna help me. The chest pain went away as soon as I stop worrying too much.

Please go to the doctor. My daughters best friend (19) always had chest pain as a kid but they never found the cause. She got on birth cobtrol and started having a different kind of chest pain. She went to doc and they took blood. She had a blood clot but thankfully her body had started breaking it down so when the blood test came back abdnormal it was because the debris from clot was detected.

It could also be Acid Reflex. That is what I have and I get the same symptoms while on the progestin and I used to get it really bad when I was on reg b/c many years ago. I'm not sure of the correlation, but every time I'm on either one, my dispepsia comes back and I have to go on a heavy duty antacid. :( Hope your doing o.k. Do feel better soon! Hugs!

I didn't have the breathing problems but occasionally I would get breast pain that would shoot into my arms. Lying in a recliner chair or bed with the heating pad helped. If it got to be too much I'd take my pain medicine and muscle relaxant, but normally if I caught it in time with the heating pad I was ok. I would also massage the muscles after they warmed up and try to get the nerves unpinched.

It was definitely a gripping pain that would take my breathe away and make it difficult to speak even. But mine was pain based and not heart/blood based. If in doubt, call a doctor!

Forgot to add, BC can cause breast pain. Does your Gyn have a nurse you can call? That would be the first person I ask about this.
