Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Hi everyone. I'm so glad I found this board, hopefully I can find and give support .
I have stage IV endometriosis and have had 3 laps, a tube repair and a partial ooectomy. The doctor told me I had about a 10% chance of conceiving on our own, and said to go straight for IVF after my 7 month Lupron Therapy course, but we needed to wait for my benefits to kick in and on our last cycle (a break cycle from meds) before IVF, I got pregnant. Ella May is now one and I love telling our story so other people have faith that miracles DO happen.
6 months after Ella was born, I had a m/c and we've been trying every since for another miracle. In the next couple of months I am going to need support, it's been heartbreaking losing a child and now having a hard time conceiving this one. We have 3 more months and the RE says that we should do IVF or our chances are going to dwindle. We don't have 15 grand and no bennys now so I'm not sure what we are going to do.
I can't wait to get to "know" each of you and your stories.

thats so great to hear sucess stories from women who do have miracles like your ella may. anyways have you considered adoption? even though that child isnt biologically yours adoption is more guaranteed than doing ivf. personally i would rather spend money on something i know im getting than for something that might not happen. if adoption isnt your thing than try taking out a loan or putting it on a credit card(many women have did this) hopefully it will work and youll have another miracle.
