Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
So today I feel 100% amazing. It makes me question why I'm bothering with surgery when today I feel awesome, other days not so much. I'm already scheduled, but does anyone else get conflicted like this too? Is it normal? Like I feel absolutely awesome! But when the pain hits, its awful. On a side note, I am taking 2 bcps a day to make me feel like this so that's probably not good. LOL I just am a little nervous. ALSO I changed my diet to mostly plant based, and the way I feel is absolutely awesome! So maybe that would be helpful to someone else. Limit animal products and I feel better. Obviously, it's not the same for everyone, but if I could help one person...

yeah I doubt that's ever gonna happen for me. But who knows. what are you doing treatment wise?

Still flipping waiting for treatment... I can't get into the Gyno until march although they have bloodwork, an ultrasound and ct scan... I was sent by my d.o. And to b honest I'm in such pain I cannot stand it!! Plus I'm 5 days away from the spot in my cycle where the pain is the worst and I'm terrified!

I hate that! I'm on continuous bc right now and bleed everyday, but it sure beats the really awful traumatizing periods which you're talking about. I'd rather bleed a little a day than have to deal with that shit. I feel for you really. A doctor told me to start taking advil/aleve/Tylenol (whatever you take) a few days at night before the painful day. It really helped for me. Obviously check with your doc first, but it helps some. And there's this drug OTC at vitamin shoppe for cramps and such. It helped me some!

Right now I'm on Vicodin for the pain. I called the dr today in tears and got my appointment moved to next tues! Let's hope I get answers and some sort of treatment!!
