Sorry, I just don't know where else to put this. I am seriously depressed. I hate being a woman, every MINUTE of it sucks. I have pain with my period, back pain, nausea, migraines, breast pain, vulvodynia, breast cysts, endo. I am expected to cater to men, not get enough sleep and worse not "complain" because it's what happens to women. I really wish I hadn't been born a girl. I feel that everything about it is a curse. I hate wearing bras they are super uncomfortable. I hate having my period. I hate my ovaries hurting, I mean today I'm working out and all of a sudden my ovary wanted attention. I hate birth control where it helps, I hate being a slave to medical science, and seriously it's not the most ideal thing, I still cry, I'm still depressed and worse I still bleed. Than when I have sex, I have to be careful to not get pregnant but a guy can just enjoy without consequences. I just feel robbed of a normal life and I don't know what to do. Am I alone in the way I feel? I want everything removed I want to know what life is like without pain, without feeling inferior, without bleeding once a month. What the hell?

NO, you are not alone.. we all are going through this, or we have, and probably will over and over again... I know it is difficult, but try to stay positive, positive thoughts, positive passages... i was like u last week and this week i am ok.. last week i had suicidal thoughts even... just know you are not alone and although it is a struggle, we do have to be strong:) good luck, and hope things get better.

Hormones--they'll get you every time. :) I either end up walking around like a raging medusa or cry at the drop of a hat when my hormones are going crazy.

I cried this morning when I woke up my boyfriend was half asleep and was just like calm yourself haha he knows at this point just let me cry. I don't take it out on anyone I just need to lose it every now and then. Luckily he likes to cuddle!

Amen! I agree with you 100% I also love it when men say they get it because their mom/sisters etc has really bad periods. Um no you don't and you never will and until you experience it yourself don't think you know what I go through. I have also often wondered what I did to deserve this (so to speak) Such as was I Henry the VIII in a past life? or what karmic thing did I do. ugh. Sending hugs!!!

Alana, has a hysterectomy ever been recommended for you or have you looked into that as an option? I just say that because you always state how much you hate bleeding and for women with lots of bleeding a hysterectomy with just removal of the uturus can help. Just wanted to through it out there...i know you are just venting also.

I WANT ONE SO BADLY YOU HAVE NO IDEA!!! Ok that was excitement! Did you get one? I am lobbying for it and so are my parents and boyfriend. I could deal with the pain if there were no bleeding. Its terrible.

I'm with you Alana. I want one so bad too. Anything to stop the heavy bleeding. The pain is somewhat bearable, at least I wouldn't have to run to the bathroom every 5 minutes because of clots.
Is your doctor listening to you about this?

No I've always been.told I'm too young and might want kids. But its perfectly ok for a dude to get a vasectomy awesome

Alana, I'm so sorry you are having such a difficult time. Are you going to have a lap to find out if you endo? They won't just remove your uterus just because you don't want to bleed. Have you looked into other ways to stop your periods without taking everything out. Just don't want you to be faced with other issues if it can be avoided.

P.S. Vasectomies are reversible so that's why some think they aren't a big deal.

I cant continuous bc makes it hurt worse and my doc and I both agreed lupron wont do anything any other ideas?

Sorry lupron isnt for me because It gives u bad mood swings as u can see that would be terrible haha. I didnt mean it wouldn't do anything cuz def not the case. Also I am gonna do it but the boyfriend just had surgery one at a time lol

I am having a hysterectomy in about 10 days! Yea!!! I know it wont be easy, but i am done suffering.

Oh wow details on that why did they decide to do that? Are you getting your uterus removed the only or the whole thing? Keep us updated!
