I hope that everyone is doing well. I just had my 2nd lap on the 15th and have been recovering pretty well, but there is one thing that seems to keep bugging me. My post-op appointment is Tuesday, but I was curious to see if anybody here has had a similar experience or has any advice.
After surgery, the dr told my mom and boyfriend that my left side was pretty much a mess with endo and scar tissue, but that the right side was ok. Starting around a week and a half after surgery though, I started feeling pains around my right ovary. My mom got the impression that there wasnt any to remove from the right side so I'm a little nervous as to why I'm in pain there. Its only been about 2 and a half years since my last lap so now I'm worried about entering this cycle of surgery all the time if the symptoms keep coming back fast and furious :-/

Please also remember that it takes your body 4-6 weeks to break on the inside from surgery. Almost all pains you feel in that time are healing pains and not regrowth.
I aren't back after a week after my first lap and it was too soon. My second and third I took 10 days off each. My 4th is when I had the ovary removed...I had the surgery done on a Tuesday...I took off from the day before surgery until the Wednesday two weeks later. And that wasn't long enough! My Dr said I could go back but that she thought I should wait another week....She was right of course!
I hope you get some rest! I'd mention the pain to your Dr but I really wouldn't worry about it or just assume endo is growing already. Of course it's possible but really it's still so soon after surgery that pains are hard to differentiate at this point.
