Hi ladies!

I hope you are all well!!

I have a question..my pain has been slowly coming back after exicision where I am now daily experiencing some sort of pain, although it might not last long I know it's coming back. Im just trying to hold out to a point I can't bear it anymore, hopefully then he will give me *something* - I know I can't keep having surgeries every 6 months to clean me up! I also know it spreads quite fast so I doubt he'll be seeing me at my 6 month follow up (it'll be before!).

Anyway along with my pain reoccuring I had a UTI a few weeks ago. So prone to these I went in and asked for the medication! (sad huh?).

The last few days I have been having this stinging sensation when I pee, I don't think it's a UTI though.. It doesn't feel like one..although if it persists I will go back to the doctor and ask if it could be flaring up again. I don't need to constantly go to the toilet, but every time I do go it stings. It's giving off none of the signs I get with a UTI...But since I had one a few weeks ago maybe they are linked?

Any thoughts?

it may be a UTI i get them alot to but i am not sure if thats what it is and how long has it been since your surgery it can come back within 3 to 4 months but it should not come back if you had the type of surgery you had hang in there and see if your doctor will send you to pain management if you are not already going i am here if you need to talk and here to listen

i don't know about this one taters. it could be a precursor to a full blown infection or that possibly the last one didn't clear up completely and is back to haunt you. it could also be just an odd endo thing too. i hate to even mention that painful urination can be a sign of IC. IC seems to go hand in hand with endo too, but i wouldn't want you to jump to conclusions. just keep it in mind. i had one isolated painful urination once and it never recurred, so it could be just a fluke. i was worried about IC with this last bladder infection myself. i just hope to god and pray REALLY hard that i don't have it or ever develop it. hugs!!!

Inchronicpain - thanks for your thoughts! My endo came back and spread almost immediately from my first surgery (laser surgery) and in 4.5 months was back in having my second surgery which is exicision. I have noticed a difference but my pain is begining to come back! URGH =(

Jen - Im unsure too.. Im going to give it a day or two, if it is an infection flaring up again it wont take long for it to really let me know. It's just not something I'd associate with a UTI as I am so prone to those!
Thanks, I hope I don't acquire IC either! How horrible! I hope you don't either! that'd be just as horrid! I hope you're feeling better!!

i know what you mean. a girl knows when shes got a UTI. i hope that's all you have tho, with just different symptoms.. i'm doing better with my horrible bladder infection i have. my bladder is still tender and it hurts to have any pressure on it, but it's much better than before. thanx for asking!!! ~jen
