Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
The nausea could be endo-related. I do get nauseated when exercising (usually with pain too) because everything just gets stretched and jolted around.
Hope you are feeling better!
Regardless of what caused it I am sorry you're having such a bad time especially during the holidays - hope you're feeling better today and can have some fun.
It's not quite the same, but psychologically it's the same. I was shocked and very upset that I kept doing little things that "messed me up." Are you feeling better now? Has this happened in the past?
I started to see a sports psychologist because it was hard to move without being constantly worried that I was going to break myself. He taught me to judge each moment independently and not to blame myself. I always did things that I thought was ok, and most of the time it was...just sometimes it wasn't and then I was slouched in the corner crying because I couldn't believe I broke myself.
Give yourself a break and allow these moments to happen. They are independent of you as a person overall (you are not broken!)...and they will pass.
Huge hugs.
