Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
So I'm not sure whats going on. I don't feel well again. I was doing well for a year and now my symptoms are back :( During this year I would have an off day here or there but nothing significant.
The pain has come back for about a week to a week and a half now. I'm on progestin and take it on a continuous basis with no break in between. About a week and a half ago was spotting for about 2 days so I figured I would go off the pill and have a monthly to stop the spotting. I started my period the next day and then on day 3 I couldn't take the endo pain anymore and went back on the pill since then my endo pain is back. Its bad enough for me to start taking pain meds again, and its come back in the same rhythm as before and its getting hard to travel and make it thro the work day. Its very aggravating, but not debilitating and I'm afraid it might get to that point. :(
I'm sad, scared and irritated all in one right now. I don't know if its just a flare and will go away or what the problem is. I just don't know what to do because I'm out of free care at the hospital and have no health insurance and can't afford the 25% down to go in for an apt. or any out of pocket costs to cover any new meds if needed.
I wish I knew what this was related to. I've stuck to my diet pretty well and have done nothing out of the ordinary except stop taking my pill for 2 1/2 days, but I'm not sure if that would allow my endo to grow back to the point where its this painful and since I've been back on it I've been taking it the same time religiously every day. It also scares me that I was fine for a good year and then all of a sudden my symptoms are back.
Any advice? Has anyone else gotten a random flare up for no reason on meds and then it just randomly went away?

Can you apply for financial assistance at the hospital?
But I'm thinking of going in for a follow up and ultra sound to make sure things are still in check. I just hope that this all goes smoothly. I'm sick of endo and all of my health issues and not being able to have a normal life.
