Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Endo wise, I guess okay. Not thrilled to talk new BC but whatever. I can't get my way like always. I did however post a question about it but no one seem to answer so yea.
Not a happy camper for the past week.
I'm sorry you're having a bad time. As far as "being busy"....I think that pretty much describes daily life for us ALL=) If we meditate too long on the bad stuff, we don't have the energy to celebrate the good stuff....
Are you okay?
Believe me, sweetie, I understand the icky, yucky, bloated feelings. I also feel the depth of your desire to conceive, and the disappointment with others who make it look so "easy". Your time is coming...Your JOY will be worth the wait=)
I've missed your bright smile! I know it's tough when you're trying to be everything to everybody. Just MAKE the time to take care of YOU baby girl. When you do have a moment, please tell me again about your upcoming surgery. I somehow missed the details.
I'm having a TLH/RSO on the 30th of this month because of adenomyosis. We were going to leave both ovaries but my right one keeps giving me pain and producing cysts so it's going too.Hoping I can keep the left one for now.My gyn wants me to look into genetic testing because of my aunt..so if I'm positive we'll either just watch my remaining ovary or take it out.
I'm really trying to be mindful of my well being but my three little monkeys don't really understand(nor do I expect them to),so it's hard to say no to their beautiful faces.I'm a yes girl anyway...I don't think my lips can even form the word no;)lol.Hubby will be home the 27th so I will be well taken care of then.Plus I should get a three week staycation after that:)) I told Nicky tonight I can't wait for surgery just so I can sleep:)) OY!
The genetics testing is a very good idea. You will do that prior to your surgery, right?
I understand the "A-W-W " factor of sweet faces. They are precious. My nieces and nephews (that were always my pretend kids) are grown and married with the start of a new generation. They were ALL at our house for Labor Day. The house was "rockin" with squeals of joy as they "rode" my Dalmatians, ate all the candy I could give them, ate watermelon and birthday cake!!!
I love kids W-A-A-Y more than grown-ups...always have, always will.

I've still been recovering from my 2nd lap/hysteroscopy that was last week on Thursday, (plus keeping up with my beautiful 8 mo. little man) hasn't left me much time but I have been thinking of everyone here and wanting to post.
My update:
The initial first 3 days were mostly soreness and aching especially around incisions and gas pains (similar to my first lap and not super bad)....but that has mostly subsided and I HATE to admit that the pain I am in now is basically the exact same pain I have been suffering from for a long time now- the pain I know is from my endo and cysts>> (My terrible description of my pain is that I have someone/thing trying to claw out of my uterus, burning pains, stabbing pains on both ovaries, pressure, deep intense horrible pain...etc....all to the point of causing nausea)
I am really bummed because I was very hopeful that this nearly constant (75% of my days) pain would improve with this surgery.....and so far it has not in the least. I know my endo has advanced to stage III now with multiple adhesions but my RE/GYN that did both my surgeries said he removed I believe all of it (of course all the info was given to my parents after my surgery- and I will know more tomorrow @ my post-op appt when he discusses with me directly what was done)
I wish my update was a happier one, but I am truly grateful for every woman here, you all give me strength, hope, and comfort, without even knowing it!!!
Praying for better days for us all.
It's too soon to tell, sweetie. Surgery is traumatic to your body, lap or otherwise. Try not to be discouraged. I think doctors fail to prepare women for the aftermath...leaving them to expect too much too soon. You've not had time to heal. Be careful with your lifting your sweet boy although that's hard to do.
Be sure to convey your feelings to your doctor. Perhaps he can reassure you as well. Keep us posted, okay?
