Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Apples are a good source of energy. Nuts - I like almonds the best. Sometimes going for a walk helps as counter intuitive as that seems. Then I also drink coffee & tea, usually not if it's late though due to having trouble actually sleeping at night.
I know when I was in school if I needed to study and I was really tired I would study outside if the weather permitted. The fresh air helped keep me awake.
Yesterday I started my period and slept over 12 hours. When I woke up this morning I felt I could still sleep more.
I used to drink a ton of caffein but have pulled back since we are TTC.
I also just try to schedule down days. Skipping class and sleeping all day can actually be beneficial. Orherwise the lack of sleep can lead to frantic moments.
Huge hugs, there is no one good answer on this other than to do the best you can.
What do you do for exercise? I went to cycling class Monday and only made it halfway through because I was so tired and it was making my pain worse. I want to get into yoga but I can't afford it.
As for diet I follow paleo, which doesn't fix everything but does help a little. This week I've been trying to cut sugar even more and also potatoes and things like that.
You could check out some yoga DVDs if you can't afford classes, or if you're not sure if you'll like it. That's how I got into pilates. I started out by doing pop pilates watching Casey Ho's online videos, and I liked it so much that I was on a pilates kick for awhile. Her website is http://www.blogilates.com/
Bob Harper has some good pilates videos on his website too.
Hope everyone can start feeling rested.
One of my favorites was a Crunch Fat Burning Dance Party

I also like Tamilee Web's "I want that body" and "Defy Gravity"

I have had back problems the last few years so working out is really tough. My husband is all over me to "not overdo it" and cause my back to go out again.
So...sigh...I feel a little limited on my workouts.
I just go for walks or things like that.
I had to stay physically active to stay away like walking etc. If I sat down to work on my comp or something like that the fatigue would get worse. Also drinking lots of water and fluids helped me. Ice water esp woke me up.
As for yoga I have a DVD that I adore. Its from the Kripalu Institute. Its for gentle yoga and has great poses, streches and routines. There are 2 half hour segments and its designed so that you can do both or just one. Here is the link if your interested.

I hope you get over this soon. It sucks to be tired all the time esp when your trying to live your life and have 20 million things you need to accomplish during the day.
