Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Sorry to hear that you have pain. I'm also on Depro Provera for about a month and the side effects are the worse. I feel ur pain...
Yes, I have also read that coffee and meats is bad for you or any type of food that has hormones. I read that organic food is the best type of food for us Endo ladies to eat.
If you have pain, you could use a heating pad on the area or take a hot bath or shower. I love to just take a hot bath and relax!!
I hope this little info will help you with your pain.
STAY STRONG!! Bibiana
Your right about coffee and meats, but for me I notice I have other triggers as well. Maybe start keeping a food and drink journal and see if you notice a trend. Just a suggestion.
I agree with Andrea, a heating pad is always nearby for me and a warm bath with Lavender will relax me. Sometimes slow, controlled breathing along with Naproxen, or another pain reliever is all I can do until it subsides enough for me to sleep.
Wishing you luck and I hope you find something to give you relief. I know everyone is different. Oh accupuncture is another I hear works.
Good luck!
xoxo
I have been feeling better for the last 3 days. I went to my regular Dr yesterday for the weird headache and she sent me some medication for migraine (just what I need) and blood work. I normally don't take anything for the pain. I use my heating pad and pretty much try to ignore the pain. I am jus scare of becoming addicted to painkillers.
Thanks a lot :)
