The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

Hi ladies...

I am hoping to start a new website for raising awareness for endo. I wanted to hear your thought on what you would like to see in a new endo site. Please take time to fill out the survey. I think what you are doing id wonderful! I would find it very helpful if specialists were listed in each state! I think that would be the most helpful.

I already took the survery, so I didn't want to do it again, but I was thinking a little more about this, and I think you should do something with the symptoms. I know most people have completely varied ones, but even having anything like that listed might help people become aware themselves and be able to bring endo up as a possible diagnosis for what they are going through.

I agree with Stacy. I had some pretty weird issues, and the doctors kept wanting to call it IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). It was only after an endoscopy (GROSS!) from both ends that they realized it was NOT a GI issue. :\

I was diagnosed with a thyroid issue, a vitamin deficiency, and a 'bad period' for a while, too. I mean.. c'mon! Not everyone has the same symptoms, and not all of them are textbook endo. I agree that some kind of user-based comprehensive list would be cool.
