My eye lid was so swollen I could barely open it, I've been home for 3 hours and the swelling has gone down significantly.
The cream is from Kamwo - dermcare - eczemacare.
I've also read that light therapy can be helpful. Do you know what your triggers are? I am still working on figuring mine out but think it might be eggs and metals.
Hope you find relief soon - sending you hugs
Sending hugs back x
Sorry to hear about your suffering Ashleigh... boy do I feel what you are going through...
Anyway at the age of 45... (mind you I developed Eczema at 21 )... I've finally figured something thats starting to work with my extreme outbreaks.
So here it is:
1. Get some organic oats( grind them into almost powder in the food processor and store in a zip bag / glass jar. Fill small muslin bag with it, and drop it into a warm bath, also 20 drops of grapefruit seed extract. Sit in it with all affected areas about 20 mins.
2. Rinse and dry off.... before moisturing... spray areas with ( a mix of distilled water/grapefruit seed extract/lavendar/a pinch of xylitol/sea salt)
3. put some oil ( coconut/ jojoba( though this is really a wax)/ olive is ok too ) on.
4. get some gauze, and wrap the areas.
Note: I found that constant disinfecting and re-wrapping the areas is a big help just in case the skin has been exposed to staph/ mrsa... who knows, but always a good idea to keep the area clean as possible. The gse is such a good and natural bacteria killer. This whole process has brought the excruciating itchiness down to a 2! I was able to sleep through the night.
Doing all this is kind of a bother, but it's really really helping in a big way, unlike anything else I've tried in the past 24 years... and I've tried Everything. But I like to stick to natural remedies when I can, and I think this might be it. :) Give it a try guys and best of luck with this crazy thing!
Thanks I'll certainly give it a go it might be a bother but anything that helps is worth a try!! I was talking to a friend of mine who was wondering if the fact I have the implant would be causing the flare up due to the extra hormones ect. I have had a swab from the back of my legs and doctors said I have a staph infection didn't really explain that and just prescribed more antibiotics that are not working! So not really sure where to go from there with regards to the infection
