Hi! I am 14 and I recently joined this support group because I feel like, I will feel better if I know that I am not the only one suffering because of eczema. I have atopic dermatitis and ever since I got it, it has increased every year. I am at the point where if it gets worse, I won't be able to handle it. Please reply with home remedies to help eczema.

Hello! Your not alone, I’m 14 and have had Chronic Atopic Dermatitis/Eczema since I was born. Although I don’t have any Home Remedies, I can recommend Eumovate and Diprobase Cream. Heard of them??

No actually I haven’t but thank you so much. Actually I have stopped using any steriod creams because I have learned that it just makes my skin more sensitive and worse in general. Thats why I have started home remedies and natural ways of healing the skin. But I still appreciate very much :)

I had diagnosed eczema on both elbows.

By accident, I discovered that taking lactoferrin, an over-the-counter supplement, one pill a day (brand doesn't matter), erased my eczema.

Hi Karate13, have you been to a dermatologist yet?

See if they will get you on biologics. Its a self-injectable treatment. I haven't tried, but heard good things.

Your other option is light treatment, PUVA but its costly, takes 1-3 visits per week and 2-4 months to see results.
