my stomach is in excruciating pain....like really bad...it the top of my belly so i know it has nothing to do with going to the bathroom. i cant eat without doubling over with pain...when i eat it feels like my stomach exploded. i havent really been eating since month..maybe once a day. i just had coffee and my stomach hurts so bad i wanna cry. anything that hits my stomach makes it hurt.
has anyone been through this? what can i do to make it feel better?

If the pain is really that bad you need to go to the doctor...like NOW. This is nothing to mess around with. It could be your stomach but it could also be your gallbladder - people with EDs are at an increased risk for gallbladder stones - which are incredibly painful and needs to be treated as soon as possible. Depending on your situation you might need surgery. So, you need to get yourself to the doctor.

i went to the emergency room for this excruciating pain and the doc told me that shes pretty sure i have a stomach ulcer and then i had this man doctor that pressed on my stomach and said he felt a mass which may be my spleen a bit enlarged...they said to go see a gastroenterologist but i never got around to it...im gonna make an appt now

coffee acts like a laxative. Did you know that even if you dont eat you produce waste> I suggest you go to the doctor.

I also think you need to see a doctor. I know I am a coffee drinker but there are times when it really bothers my stomach.

I was experiencing horrible stomach pains before I started recovery. The doctors at the ER could never tell me what was wrong. I did not have insurance to see a specialist. So I started to do research about food, stomach pains, other things that were going on. I found out I have multiple food allergies. Even though I was not eating that often when I did it was usually a food I was allergic too. It took me a few months to get the pain under control. Warm ginger tea and peppermint tea helped me. With a heating pad as well. I hope you find relief soon!
