I am struggleing alone, utterly alone. My anxiety with food and exercise is running so high, well only if I try to fight it. I have been losing weight again and almost back to my lowest. The exercise has slowly increased while the calories slowly decrease. I don't feel that I do this for attention, because whether people like the way I look or don't, I really don't care. It is more a sense of needing to exceed what I did before. I feel this internal "standard" that I have to maintain or beat everyday. With this, I am "successful" but I know that it is harmful to my body. My body fat is very low, the lowest it has ever been.
Yet in my mind, I know that I need to increase my food, weight, etc. I have a problem. Yet the other part of my mind says, I must not have too much of a problem considering NO ONE ever says anything. My parents watch my daughter after school so I see them everyday when I get off of work to pick her up and they make no comments, ever. My sister and brother- in- law just moved back to the state and are temp staying with my parents, and my sister also has not said anything. Boss, coworkers, etc.. nothing. Not even my thereapist.
How can I truly have a problem if no one else sees it? I know that I am too thin, I am buying clothes in my daughters sizes. I just can't believe that the people that are supposed to care don't say a word. I think I want them to just because I want some support so I have somebody cheering me on. But if they don't care that I am too thin, then why should I? It is easier to befreind ED then to fight him alone.
Any words of encouragement would be helpful. I want to fight ED but it is so hard to do it completely ALONE. Thank you

i was beginning to think I was completely alone... even on DS.
Also, I'm a mom, too. But my daughter's only 4 years old, and I'm guessing yours is a bit older?
My daughter is older, she's 10. And I do realize she is at a very impressionable age. However, this is where my nutritional education comes in handy as I have taught her the balanced way of eating and self image. So far, so good. She knows Mom eat's differently (or doesn't eat) due to food allergies. Excuse that won't last forever but ok for now. UGH!
